We are very excited to introduce our version of a Ballerina. We played with geometry and proportions to create a less expected version of this classic closed toe silhouette.
Our goal was to make a very light version of a ballerina that fares well with our tropical climate (aka: rainy/sunny same day) and we ended up loving the solutions; open sides and rubber soles. Unexpected and sophisticated, meant to travel and be on the move.
We have not tried these with socks for cooler days and nights but if you do, keep us posted #islenasstudio :)
